How much Arsenal have offered for Leicester City star Bilal El Khannouss has been revealed
Leicester City have been relegated to the Championship and look set to lose some key figures in the summer transfer window.
Leicester City were relegated last month after losing to Liverpool, spending just one season back in the Premier League following their Championship triumph in 2023/24.
Their demotion is expected to signal the departure of several players, with Jamie Vardy’s Leicester exit already confirmed once his contract expires.
Elsewhere, Wilfred Ndidi could be sold for a cut-price fee due to a relegation clause in the Nigerian’s contract.
There has now been an update on midfielder Bilal El Khannouss and transfer interest surrounding him.
Arsenal make offer for Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss
EL Khannouss joined Leicester in the 2024 summer transfer window and has been one of their better performers throughout the season.
His form has attracted the attention of Champions League semi-finalists Arsenal, who are said to have made an offer.
Moroccan news site Soccer 212 have reported this week that talks between Mikel Arteta’s side and Leicester have begun.
It’s understood that a €30m fee has been offered for the midfielder, though it’s not mentioned if it has been turned down.
The outlet wrote on X/Twitter: “Bilel El Khannouss in Arsenal’s sights! The Gunners have started talks with Leicester and offered 30M€ for the Moroccan midfielder, who has had a great season. Arteta confirms, El Khannouss is in. To be continued…”
