Leicester City Agree Deal For Oliver Skipp

Everton ‘to negotiate Quansah transfer with Liverpool’ after £25m+ news

Jarell Quansah could be set to make the move across Merseyside from Liverpool to Everton this summer.

The Toffees ended their Premier League campaign in 13th place after an unexpected 1-0 victory against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on the final day of the season (25 May).

Now, David Moyes’ side will be keen to strengthen their squad in the hope of climbing up the Premier League table next year.

Ahead of their move from Goodison Park to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, the Merseyside club could look to make a statement with the signing of Quansah from Liverpool.Leicester City Agree Deal For Oliver Skipp

Liverpool want to sell Quansah for minimum of £25.2million
Liverpool have struggled to provide Quansah with sufficient minutes due to a strong defensive core, which includes Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konaté and Joe Gomez.

As a result, Quansah could move on from Anfield, and Everton has emerged as a potential destination.

However, ex-Goodison scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – believes this is a large sum of money for a player who has hardly featured, and has suggested Everton could look to renegotiate this price.

“I think that is a bit expensive for Quansah,” King said.Leicester City Agree Deal For Oliver Skipp

“I thought a fee of £18-20million would be a reasonable figure. I don’t think £25m is a lot to spend on a player, but I think it is a lot to spend on Quansah. He only played 13 times in the Premier League for Liverpool this season.

“All of a sudden, he is worth £25m? I would have said £18-20m with a top-up if certain add-ons are achieved. I’d imagine Everton will look to renegotiate that fee.”
