West Ham will be able to bring in some new players this summer ahead of next season
West Ham turned to Graham Potter to replace Julen Lopetegui in January but has since struggled for results. Prior to his move to the London Stadium, he took some time out of the game after his sacking by Chelsea. He has also managed the likes of Swansea City and Brighton and Hove Albion.
Potter, 50, has won only five of his 19 games in charge of the Hammers. He has the chance to bring in some new signings this summer to boost his squad. The Midlands-born man also has the opportunity to sell some players.
West Ham need to add more firepower to their attacking ranks. They have been linked with a move for Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade in the transfer window. According to CaughtOffside, they are keen on the £42m-rated Bundesliga man.
However, the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Brighton and Everton have also been mentioned as potential suitors, along with European teams such as Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Roma. Therefore, the Hammers would need to see off plenty of competition from elsewhere for his signature. They would be able to offer him a lot of game time though which should boost their chances of getting.
