Everton table mega bid to seal Thierno Barry transfer as Moyes update drops

Everton are pushing hard to sign a new striker this summer.

After failing with a move to sign Liam Delap, who has since joined Chelsea, Villareal wonder Thierno Barry is now on the agenda.

Doubts continue to surround the future of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is said to be keen on a move to Italy, with Beto also attracting heavy interest.

That could leave the door wide open for Barry to come in.

Everton have now tabled a bid in excess of £25.4million to sign the Villareal star, according to Marc Mechenoua.

The former Le Parisien journalist has reported that Barry is a priority for David Moyes, despite no agreement being reached.
