£13m winger may have to choose between Leeds United and Everton, he’s already teammates with Elland Road star

Leeds United and Everton have already been tangled in a handful of transfer battles this summer, and the two Premier League sides have now been put into another.

Leeds United and Everton could be a good match up in the Premier League next season, especially if Daniel Farke’s side can sign some more exciting new players ahead of their return to the top flight.

But David Moyes at Everton is also looking to strengthen his side, and he and Farke have been linked with a number of the same players already this summer, one being Vladimir Coufal.

Coufal has been released by West Ham and it’s been reported that he’s keen to reunite with Moyes at Everton, though Leeds don’t seem to be giving up on a deal that easily with full-backs desperately low at Elland Road.

There’s also the ongoing Jack Harrison saga: the Leeds man has spent the last two seasons on loan at Everton but now faces an uncertain future, having returned to Elland Road but seemingly wanting to go back to Merseyside.

Everton and Leeds United in transfer race to sign Timothy Weah

Earlier in the summer, Leeds United were linked with a move for Timothy Weah. The 25-year-old, who plays alongside Brenden Aaronson for the USMNT, looks set to leave the Italian giants, and there doesn’t seem to be a shortage of clubs interested in a potential deal for him this summer.

An emerging report from Foot Mercato has detailed the latest. They suggest that Spurs, Everton, and Leeds United were all chasing a deal for the right-sided player, but that only Everton and Leeds now remain. There’s also interest from France with AZ Monaco keen, but they need to facilitate player sales before they can make a move.

On Thursday, separate reports revealed that Juventus will sell Weah for £13million this summer, making him a very affordable option for Leeds United who have a £150million transfer budget this summer.
