Moyes is a big admirer of the Denmark international and could make a move in the coming weeks as the new 2024/25 season rapidly approaches.
The Toffees are also eyeing Wilfred Ndidi, who has a release clause worth just £9m following relegation to the Championship.
Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund hold an interest in Ndidi, too, so there is stiff competition to land his signature this summer.

Bilal El Khannouss is a man in demand this summer after an impressive individual campaign for the Foxes.
The 21-year-old, who joined in a £21m switch from Genk in 2024, created a whopping 42 chances, according to FotMob.
Evidently, in a better side, that would’ve seen him generate double figures in assists, rather than his three.
El Khannouss’ performances have alerted Moyes, according to talkSPORT, who claim Everton are exploring a deal to sign the Morocco international.
Nottingham Forest, West Ham United, Sunderland and Bayer Leverkusen are also keeping tabs on his situation, too.
