Tottenham Hotspur have placed great emphasis on recruiting young talent since Ange Postecoglou’s arrival from Celtic in 2023.
The North Londoners signed four teenagers this summer with Dominic Solanke the only arrival aged in his 20s.
That model is expected to continue heading into the Janaury transfer window and with that said, TBR Football can now reveal that Tottenham are keeping tabs on a promising young Leicester player.

Tottenham Hotspur keeping tabs on Leicester’s Caleb Okoli
TBR Football understands Tottenham Hotspur are keeping close tabs on the progress of Leicester City defender Caleb Okoli.
We can reveal that Spurs considered a move for Okoli in the summer, as he left Atalanta.
Leicester swooped for his signature in the summer paying just over £10million after he spent the previous campaign on-loan at Frosinone.
TBR Football understands that during his time at Frosinone, Spurs scouts were impressed with Okoli but they had reservations about how he would cope in the Premier League.
However, now in England – Okoli has started life well with Leicester and Tottenham are happy to keep tabs on his progress.
Likewise, TBR is told that Newcastle and West Ham were in similar positions to Tottenham, and they are also keeping a watching brief on Okoli.
Okoli for his part has settled well and his form has been rewarded with a place in the Italy squad.
Caleb Okoli statistics
Okoli has been one of Leicester’s signings of the summer so far as evinced by his impressive FBref statistics.
The 2001-born ranks in the top eight per cent for clearances per 90 compared to his positional peers across Europe.
Further, Okoli sits in the top 14 per cent for blocks, amplifying his terrific defensive attributes – which have certainly caught the eye.
The 6ft 3 Italian, who Roberto Mancini considers a promising young talent (The Athletic), uses his frame well and is an aerial threat in both boxes, so if Spurs were to sign him, he’d be a unique profile that they’re lacking.
